Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
ProLinkr Inc. (“ProLinkr,” “we,” “us”) is a company incorporated federally in Canada under the Canada Business Corporations Act. We are building a marketplace that connects hospitality businesses with vetted workers, launching in Toronto and Calgary. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website at prolinkr.caduring this pre-launch period — specifically our waitlist and interview-booking forms.
We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
1. What we collect
We only collect what we need:
- Waitlist form:your full name, email address, and whether you’re a worker or a business.
- Interview booking (handled by our scheduling provider, Calendly): your name, email address, phone number, and the meeting time you choose.
- Basic technical data: limited information such as your browser type and IP address, used only to keep the forms secure and prevent spam.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
2. Why we collect it
- To send you a single email when ProLinkr launches, if you joined the waitlist.
- To schedule and hold a validation interview, if you booked one.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse.
We rely on your consent(the checkboxes on our forms). You can withdraw that consent at any time — see “Your choices” below.
3. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the site. These providers process data on our behalf and are located in the United States, which means your information may be stored or processed outside Canada and could be accessible to US authorities under US law. We use providers that offer comparable protection:
- Supabase — stores waitlist entries (database).
- Resend — sends our emails.
- Calendly and Google — interview scheduling and video meetings.
- Vercel — hosts the website.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
4. How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and interview information only for as long as needed for the purposes above. When ProLinkr launches we will either migrate your details into your new account (with notice) or delete them, and we will delete any test or unused data. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
5. Your choices and rights
Under Canadian privacy law you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
- Ask us to correct it;
- Ask us to delete it and remove you from the waitlist;
- Withdraw your consent to future emails at any time.
To do any of these, email us at privacy@prolinkr.ca. Every email we send also includes a way to unsubscribe.
6. How we protect it
The site is served over encrypted HTTPS. Waitlist data is stored with row-level security enabled and is accessible only to our server using a secret key — the public cannot read the list. Access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information and will notify you and the relevant regulator of any breach that poses a real risk of significant harm, as required by law.
7. Cookies
Our own pages do not set marketing or analytics cookies. The embedded Calendly booking tool may set its own cookies that are necessary for scheduling to work; those are governed by Calendly’s privacy policy.
8. Children
ProLinkr is intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ProLinkr develops. We’ll change the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know.
